Primland’s history began two centuries ago as a land grant of over 60,000 acres given to settler William austin for the purpose of agriculture and was eventually used for timber operations in the early 20th century. French businessman, didier Primat, purchased the land in 1977. it became Monsieur Primat’s vision to create a place of beauty where guests could enjoy nature in a refined setting.

Primland has recently been voted one of the top 100 hotels in the world by Travel and Leisure and one of the top 20 hotels and resorts of the usa by Conde Nast and is an excellent choice for staging a distinctive wedding.

The Venue the main building, known as the Lodge, features 26 guest rooms and suites and boasts a spectacular entrance hall with massive stone fireplaces as well as pieces of fine art and sculpture – many made from re-purposed wood and materials. there are several location options for the wedding ceremony, including, but not limited to: a mountainside gazebo with stunning views and the ballroom.

The Menu Elements restaurant offers fine dining inside the Lodge and features new american cuisine with a French inspired flair. all food is prepared fresh with locally sourced ingredients. your wedding menu will be customized to fit your needs by the Executive chef, gunner thompson.
