5 Bridal Shower Gift Baskets Every Bride-to-Be Will Love

Gift baskets are a great way to incorporate items from the couple’s registry with other useful items that may not be included on the registry. Here are 5 themed baskets that are bound to be a hit:

1. Seasonal Kitchen & Baking

Start off with a large wicker basket, like the Better Homes & Gardens one shown below. Add a decorative tea towel for every holiday and season. Don’t forget to include winter, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, spring, Easter, summer, 4th of July, fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Another fun one is a personalized tea towel for the newlyweds with their initials or last name. Gather these throughout the year at stores like T.J.Maxx or Hobby Lobby.

Add a few items off the couple’s registry that go along with this theme such as measuring cups and spoons, a baking sheet, rubber spatula, oven mitts, cookie cutters, a whisk, or a muffin tin.

2. Bath & Self Care

Choose a basket that can be repurposed as a laundry hamper or organization in the bathroom. Add other necessities like body wash, shampoo, and conditioner to get the couple started in their new home together. You can even include robes for the couple, and self care necessities for the bride-to-be like face masks and an ice roller. Another great idea is a bathtub tray like the one shown below from Home Depot.

Grab a few registry items like bath towels, bath rugs, a shower curtain, or soap dispenser to include this this gift basket.

3. Laundry

Use a laundry basket to hold all of the goodies for this gift- it’s practical, probably on the registry, and will definitely be utilized in the couple’s home. Fill it will other items on the registry like coat hangers, an iron or steamer, collapsable ironing board, drying rack, and detergent dispensers.

Other must-have items for the laundry room that probably aren’t on a registry are detergent, dryer sheets or dryer balls, fabric softener, and a fabric shaver.

4. Cleaning Supplies

Cleaning supplies aren’t the most exciting gift, but they’re definitely useful and probably not something the newlyweds necessarily want to spend money on. By making a creative, but useful, gift basket, the couple can save on their cleaning budget for the first few months.

A laundry basket can be used for this idea too, but another great idea is a trash can that’s probably on the registry. Fill it with all the products needed for a new home: Clorox wipes, kitchen and bathroom cleaner, stove cleaner, Windex, toilet bowl cleaner, Scrub Daddy sponges, magic erasers, gloves, glass cleaner, a broom, a mop, paper towels, and Swiffer dusters.

The example below also used toilet paper and zip-loc bags- both household necessities!
