A few weeks ago, Scott and Mika had their wedding at Scott’s parents house in Roanoke.
The pair had met at the gym. Mika said, “We had both been at the same gym for a year before going out on a date, spoiler alert, I asked Scott out to dinner!” Love the go get him attitude 😉 !
Mika’s maids wore burgundy and she a flowing gown with lace detailed bodice.

Scott and his groomsmen wore black pants and grey vests with burgundy ties. He rocked a blazer to differentiate his look for the big day.
A mix of rustic and romantic fall wedding decorations greeted guests as they entered the property.
Scott saw Mika for the first time as her brother escorted her down the aisle to song from Disney’s Tangled, which Mika had kept a secret up to that point.
“Scott secretly loves Disney movies,” she said, “you could see the excitement and surprise in his face, it made it all worth it.”
Scott’s grandfather officiated and made the ceremony intimate and unforgettable.
They kissed and were pronounced man and wife!

What was your favorite detail from the day? “My favorite detail of the day was the prayer that Scott’s mom lead at the girl’s brunch before wedding. It was the first moment that the wedding and the magnitude of everything it represented really hit me. I was gaining the worlds most wonderful husband (I’m probably biased, but that’s how I feel), and uniting two beautiful families.”
What advice would you give to a bride to be? “My advice would be to take time on your wedding day to periodically stop and look around. The day goes by quickly and its important to take it all in. Even the small things, like the butterflies in my stomach before walking down the isle stand out in my memory.”
