What could be more southern than a bourbon bar, fancy silver, cigars, and magnolia leaves entwined with roses?
Here’s what Lisa, of Engagements RVA, says about her vision for this shoot…
“The inspiration for this shoot came from the venue, Historic Leafwood. After the first visit to this historic home, we learned why the owners selected this location for a wedding venue. It’s steeped in southern history located in a small town which makes it so inviting. It’s a fabulous backdrop for anyone interested in a truly southern experience. In the Summer, you will take in the sweet perfume of the Magnolia blossoms in the air. When I closed my eyes, I imagined the ladies sipping Mint Juleps and the gentlemen seated on the patio indulging a bit from the options on the bourbon and cigar bar”.
What a great inspiration for a true southern, summertime wedding, now I am going to have a mint julep, kick off my shoes, and relax under the Magnolia tree!
