Today’s groom, Vince, is a Marine and actually met his bride, Elise, while on a work trip in Sydney, Australia! After meeting, they talked every day! Elise traveled to see him all over the world including Hawaii, Sth Korea, Thailand, and Hong Kong! Vince proposed back where it all began, in Sydney with the beautiful ring pictured above!
Let’s take a look at their wedding day that took place that the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Quantico, VA!
Elise looked stunning in her classic, long sleeve gown with an open back.
And how sweet is this sentimental sleeve detail?! It says, “Semper Fidelis,” which is the motto of the Marine Corps meaning “always faithful.”
Vince first laid his eyes on Elise that day during their first look.

Elise’s father walked her down the aisle glass chapel on site at the museum…
…where they said their vows and entered into holy matrimony!
The reception took place inside the actual museum and was as unique as could be!
For seating, each table was designated according to countries the bride and groom had visited together.
So clever!

What was your favorite detail of the day? “The embroidery on my sleeve- Semper Fidelis and also that we were able to get the Marine Corps Museum on the Marine Corps birthday!”
What advice would you give to a bride to be? “Have an on the day coordinator and make sure you give them a vision and outline of everything you want for your day. Make a run sheet and go over each moment step by step- Don’t be disheartened whatsoever if something doesn’t go exactly to plan! No one will notice and it may just make the day!”
