This week’s featured wedding was an absolute stunner that took place in April at the Doe Creek Farm in Pembroke, Virginia near Virginia Tech.
Our bride, Rachel, giggled with glee as she and her bridesmaids got ready for the big day.
The ceremony took place outdoors and no detail was overlooked! How pretty is this chalkboard sign?!
Upon seeing Rachel for the first time, Tim smiled from ear to ear!
In front of their families and friends, they said vows and committed forever to one another. What a view!
Clearly feeling blissful, the newly married couple took the sweetest couples portraits.
This day couldn’t have been anymore meant to be with the orchard being in bloom just in time! Pure perfection!
And I love the colors they chose for the bridal party! The different shades of blue complimented the men’s grey suits so well! Not to mention the pretty pink roses in the bouquets!
The reception took place indoors with my personal favorite…gold Chiavari chairs!!!
And how cute are these lanterns overflowing with florals for centerpieces!
And no wedding is complete without a cake! I love this one by New River Cakes.

What was your favorite detail from the day: “My favorite detail would be the lights in our reception hall that Doe Creek included, it just provided a romantic atmosphere.”
What advice would you give to a bride to be? “My main advice would be to choose vendors who are personable and will match your idea of what you want your day too to look like. Also to have a schedule and plan little by little so you’re not overwhelmed the month leading up to the wedding.”
