Couples who are searching for the perfect wedding vendors are sometimes influenced by “reviews” posted on websites concerning these vendors by past brides or people who worked with these vendors.
We strongly advise not believing everything you read. Many websites do not really verify a review and post them without knowing the full story.
Many professional wedding vendors and businesses have been unjustly reviewed and many times by a competitor creating a fictitious wedding just to ruin their competitor’s business!
Or sometimes just because someone did not get everything they thought they should have received – even if it were not in the contract between the client and the vendor- a person can perceive they did not get what they wanted and write a bad review.
Being a wedding vendor is a very hard job trying to please everyone and being perfect. And lets face it- no one is perfect.
Many reviews that are out there are totally unjustified and some you can see immediately are written by a very hard to please person.
In closing if you choose to do a review to reflect poorly on a business please consider that business is human like your self, they have a family that is relying on this business to make a living and really ask yourself do they really deserve a public bashing?
If you find a vendor who looks of interest to you for your wedding but they have an unfavorable review- check the following; see if they have favorable reviews on other websites – the good should outweigh the bad, ask their side of the story if it is not posted as a rebuttal- many vendors feel it is not professional to answer back to a bad review or worse may not even be aware the review is posted and finally ask for professional references from other vendors who have worked with this business.
