Terrarium Cake Topper? Yes.

The glass bubble and geometric terrariums caught my eye over a year ago when a cake designer decided to adorn a beautiful, maroon frosted cake with a brass hinged geometric topper with blushing roses inside. The roses were silk and I could imagine it sitting beautifully in the newlyweds modern or eclectic home.

And more often than not, I’m coming across blown glass terrariums with or without bromeliads, used for tabletop decoration, but why not adorn the top of a cake with one.

Decorate with:

  • sand
  • shells
  • moss
  • plants
  • dried flowers
  • fresh flowers
  • silk flowers
  • jewels
  • silk lace
  • beads
  • anything….

And now, with the ever popular battery and solar powered LED lights, you can do even more with this jewel box keepsake. Let it twinkle. Let it sparkle. Let it do more than cake toppers have done before.

So don’t just consider them as a tabletop decoration; consider them an original cake topper as well that you can keep in your home forever to remember your beautiful day by.
