DIY Games

DIY games are super fun and some of them are much more budget friendly than buying games that are only used once. Here are our favorite ideas:

The Newlywed Game

This fun game tests how well the bride-to-be knows her partner. Prepare a list of questions, around 15, and send them to the groom-to-be to answer ahead of the bachelorette party. Ask him to record himself answering each question. When the party comes around, ask the bride the same question then play the groom’s response.

Check out this TikTok for some great question examples!

Jeopardy

Turn this classic game show into a fun bachelorette party activity! For those tech-savvy maids-of-honor, this can be done on a PowerPoint or Google Slide Deck. If you’re feeling a little more crafty, you can make a board out of a tri-fold poster and envelopes.

Start with category selections. A few good ideas are the bride, the groom, the couple, this or that (have the bride make selections before the party), the bridal party, different stages of the brides life, fun facts, the wedding, etc.

After choosing the categories, make the same number of questions for each category and assign each of them a point value (100, 200, 300, 400, 500). If you’re hand making this, each questions gets its own envelope.

Divide the group up into teams to tackle this game!

My Favorite Things

For this activity, everyone attending the party needs to choose an item that is their “favorite thing.” It’s a good idea to set a budget. Each person brings 3 of the same item. Start off the game by having everyone explain what they brought and why it’s their favorite. Then, draw numbers to decide in what order you’ll go in. Each person choose one item at a time until all the items are gone. Everyone should end up with 3 different items!

Lingerie Bingo

If the bride is having a mini lingerie shower during her bachelorette trip, this is a great way to get everyone involved! Hand out bingo cards- these can be prefilled spaces or blank and allow everyone to come up with their own squares. While the bride is opening her gifts, cross off the appropriate squares until someone gets bingo.

Make bingo cards or purchase the one below on Etsy!
