The Perfect Cruise Bachelorette Getaway

Looking for a relaxing bachelorette trip with just the right amount of party and tranquility to escape from the stress of your big day? A cruise could be the answer!

Logistics

Two of the largest cruise lines, Royal Caribbean and Carnival, sail from Baltimore, Maryland. This port is convenient for any Virginia bride; it’s 1 hour from Washington, D.C., 3 hours from Richmond, and 4.5 from Roanoke. Royal Caribbean offers voyages starting at 5-nights visiting Bermuda all the way to 14-night Caribbean cruises. Canada & New England itineraries are also offered. Carnival only offers longer voyages leaving from Baltimore, starting at 7-day Bahama cruises.

For a greater variety of itineraries and shorter sailings, consider traveling to one of the various cruise ports in Florida like Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Orlando, or Tampa

Theming

A fitting theme is “The Last Sail Before the Veil.” Cruising makes decorations super easy! Some may not realize that stateroom walls are metal, so magnets can be used to hang decorations. Additionally, some passengers decorate their cabin door. This is a great way to recognize the bride-to-be!

Decorations

Perfect, on-theme decorations can be found on Etsy, Amazon, and Walmart! The door magnets shown below are available on Etsy, the sailor-groom garland is also available on Etsy, and the balloon pack can be purchased from Walmart!

Merch

These customizable t-shirts are perfect for the bridal party to sport while on board! Purchase the ones below from Etsy.
