Short, Sweet, Sophisticated, and Sassy
Audrey Hepburn is probably the most famous woman to marry in the short or tea length wedding dress, but not the only! Since the roaring 20’s women have opted for a shorter length to their wedding dresses. After the 1920’s women of all decades from the 50, 70’s and 80’s have followed suit wearing short wedding dresses. One fabulous designer from the UK Tobi Hannah has made this her specialty, even writing a book about the subject- titled “The Short Wedding Dress: The Dress, The Bride, The Style”. Short wedding dresses are always appropriate,” says Cassandra Quinn, manager of the NYC outpost of the Lovely Bride Shop.
Brides are always told to take in consideration where (location), and when (season), they will have their wedding, but times are a changing. Here are some great examples of REAL girls in REAL short wedding dresses … Be Brave! Go Short!
