Hello, fellow wedding lovers! Do I have a treat for you today!
This is Jon and just one month ago he married the love of his life, Katie at the Tuckahoe Woman’s Club in Windsor Farms in Richmond, VA! His wedding (and his bride) were absolutely stunning! Let’s check out all the details ?!
Begining with the rock that Jon proposed to Katie with…so simple and so perfect!
Katie, smiling from ear to ear, got ready with her best girls. Despite the rainy day, she was glowing and I love her sweetheart neckline lace gown!
They moved the ceremony inside but as Katie said, “It forced me to realize that it didn’t matter if it wasn’t the weather I had envisioned for our wedding day because the day couldn’t be anything but beautiful because I was marrying the love of my life.” Amen to that Katie!
After their vows, they made it official with a kiss! Honestly, Katie, I wouldn’t have known you didn’t originally plan it this way…this room made a great ceremony backdrop!
We do love the umbrella couples portraits outside though!
The reception continued inside and had that WOW factor, wouldn’t you agree?!
I am especially loving the palm centerpieces with see-through base! Perfectly functional so guest could see one another through it but also so glamorous!
Oh and these matches…obsessed! Such a cute idea!
Katie said these bridesmaids dresses from Bella Bridesmaids was one of the best decisions she made for the day as they were so versatile and her maids loved them!
Here’s to you, Katie and Jon! Thank you for allowing us to be inspired by your big day!

From the bride:
What was your favorite detail of the day? “The fact that it rained. The pictures of us outside on that rainy day ended up being my favorite.”
What advice would you give to a bride to be? “You can plan all you want for your big day, but what they say is true, there are just going to be things out of your control and things that might not go as planned, so on the day of your wedding just forget about all of that and live in the moment. I had been incessantly checking the weather leading up to my wedding because I wanted my ceremony to be outside and part of my reception outside, and it ended up raining. It forced me to realize that it didn’t matter if it wasn’t the weather I had envisioned for our wedding day, because the day couldn’t be anything but beautiful because I was marrying the love of my life. It’s important to be thankful for the day no matter what.”
