Virginia Bride Magazine had the honor of hosting the first bridal show in Virginia on Sunday, August 16th, since the COVID crisis (interestingly we also hosted the final bridal show to be held in Virginia before the shut down at The Richmond Raceway Complex).
Although times have changed with certain guidelines in place, the resort’s team were on top of making sure everyone was spaced during the fashion show to adhere to social distancing, vendor booths were also spaced according to six feet apart and everything ran smoothly!
It warmed our hearts to see couples having a great time meeting with the set of exclusive vendors on display at beautiful Tides Inn despite the rain, and enjoying the amazing fashion show that was presented by That’s My Dress Bridal.
A class act affair, Tides Inn’s catering staff served passed appetizers and champagne to guests while they were wowed by designer gowns that included Modeca Bridal and David Tutera Atelier. The backdrop for the fashion show was overlooking the spectacular Chesapeake Bay right out side of the glass windows in the resort’s King Carter Room.
The wedding vendors on display included yummy wedding and cupcake samples, catering, photography, DJ entertainment, invitations, rentals, florists, reception and ceremony venue, and wedding planning services.
Thanks to Karen Gage Photography for capturing the fashion show for us as well as shooting another great fashion cover for Virginia Bride!
And a big thank you to Signature DJ’s for the outstanding sound provided for the fashion show, giving the guests a preview of what their reception music could sound like with a pro rocking the house.
One lucky couple left the show with a resort stay at Tides Inn.
Thanks to all who came out for this fun and amazing day!
