Some people say Valentine’s day’s origin is in the Roman festival (Lupercalia). This festival is celebrated in the middle of February month. In this festival, every woman is paired with a man via lottery. It is believed that some people replaced this festival with Valentine’s Day later.
Either way, Valentine’s Day has become the symbol of love and is one of the largest engagement days of the year!
