LOVE STORY
In June 2018, Cameron and Stephanie met through mutual friends at the Southern Railway Taphouse in downtown Richmond, Virginia.
“From the first moment we met, I felt Cameron was my soulmate,” said Stephanie. “We have been inseparable.”
First Date
In the fall of 2018, Cameron and Stephanie visited the Circuit Arcade Bar in Richmond, Virginia on their first date. “We laughed over packman and drinks,” Stephanie said.
I Love You
Cameron told Stephanie he loved her early one morning after they had been dating for a month. Stephanie reciprocated immediately.
What You Love Most About Each Other
When I asked Stephanie what she loved most about Cameron, she said, “his energy and passion for life and his kind heart.” And his good looks.”
Cameron told me he loves how Stephanie cares about her family. And her sense of humor. “She is the most beautiful woman I have ever met,” said Cameron.
CHERRY BLOSSOM THEME
Rachael Mattio Photography was Cameron and Stephanie’s engagement photographer. The couple’s engagement session was held in the Windsor Farms neighborhood in Richmond, Virginia.
Rachel knew a street in this neighborhood would have cherry blossoms in full bloom on the date of the couple’s photography session, creating an unforgettable backdrop for the digital images.
ATTIRE
Stephanie wore a soft pink midi dress from Showpo. She finished her look with light brown heels from Target.
Cameron wore a white Jos. A. Bank shirt and chino pants from J.Crew.
PROPOSAL
Cameron proposed to Stephanie on July 23, 2022. He popped the question while they were taking a boat ride along the James River and Kanawha Canal in Richmond, Virginia.
RING:
Stephanie’s engagement ring is a white gold band with a marquise diamond.
ADVICE
Cameron and Stephanie offer these words of wisdom for engaged couples, “Have fun.” “The point of a wedding is not perfection but celebrating your union with family, said Stephanie.
WEDDING
Cameron and Stephanie married at a vineyard in Richmond, Virginia on September 23, 2023.
HONEYMOON
The couple honeymooned in Greece.
