Styled shoots are a creative way for photographers, stylists, and other wedding pros, to show off their talent and visions to inspire readers for their own wedding planning.
Today’s shoot is a take on a runway elopement which sparks the imagination, photographed by Sara Tiffany Photography.

“The inspiration for this shoot was a runaway courthouse elopement.
We wanted to incorporate local businesses on Main Street and tie in the vintage feel with a 60’s vibe, including Jackie O inspired hair and makeup. We went with a bright and joyful feel, so we used a summer color palette of mint, coral, pinks, orange, yellow, and touches of greenery.
A picnic celebration was held in the courthouse circle with just the two of them and their sweet pup Hadley.
The overall goal was to show a lighthearted, joyful celebration.
Our final stop was Sweet Tooth Cafe and Bakery for mint chocolate chip ice cream, of course.
Rev-It-Up Towing was kind enough to let us pose with a few of their antique cars”.

The vintage vibe, staged at a historic courthouse, was a brilliant choice and something quite different than the usual shoots we see.
A spontaneous decision to elope and then enjoy the quaint town and its surroundings as newly married, could not be more romantic!
The colors of mint, corals, and pinks are the perfect choice for a summertime wedding, complete with an intimate picnic for two.
We adore that the photographer incorporated the town’s iconic landmarks as a backdrop, they even found an old phone booth as a prop!
And who doesn’t love vintage cars, ice cream and dogs?
