Designer Monique Lhuillier reveals her spring 2025 Bliss Collection.

In Her Wonderland…

Nestled in the hills of Tuscany, amidst colorful frescos, Spring 2025 embarks on a surrealistic journey of beauty, abundance and enchantment. In a 14th-century villa, where secrets wander down the rabbit hole of time, our spirited heroine enters a world of fantasy, embracing the essence of “Il Dolce Far Niente.”

The collection has Victorian influences, rich in floral laces, sculptural taffetas, diverse hemlines, larger-than-life embroidery and dimension. The print of the season features a wild bouquet of apple blossoms, spray roses and poppies, cascading over pique gazar and tulle, standing tall in one of the grand salons.

On this enchanted estate, she is visited by unexpected friends: bouncing bunnies and precocious pups, fully immersed in the magic of the moment. In the infamous gossip room, a high neck re-embroidered lace long sleeve jumpsuit with draped taffeta over pinning and bow detail looks onto the vast Tuscan sky, while a printed lace organza peek-a-boo ballgown dances on air.

In the bedroom, a strapless draped bodice ballgown with tiered ruffle skirt in rose elegantly balances on an 18th-century bed, while an embroidered floral pearl bodice gown with chiffon skirt lounges on a Baroque chaise in the garden.

Back inside, a strapless peek-a-boo mini frolics in a room full of baby bunnies, reminding us of the rebirth and innocence of Spring. An opulent ball gown in Chantilly lace with black grosgrain sash and matching gloves stands poised in a vibrant cove of centuries old frescos.

As the sun sets over the Chianti Hills, a strapless taffeta drop waist ball gown with floral bouquet embroidery walks along the narrow path toward the beautiful cypress trees, its matching veil glows in the setting sun. A strapless Mikado and tulle drop waist ball gown with bow draped necklace and layered ruffled tulle coat is perched on the villa’s balcony, staring out at the vast Italian hills.

Over the top, statement veils with intricate embroideries, detachable lace sleeves and delicately placed hair bows complete each look. It’s an opulent lineup of transformative power both beautiful and fantastical; La Vita Bella.
