Simple, But Effective Wedding Planning Tool

Many brides on the social media site TikTok are using tri-fold boards and sticky notes to stay on top of wedding planning. By creating category titles like vendors, gifts, DIYs, groom to do, bride to do, to buy and payments, you can have a visual checklist of what needs to be done for your big day.

Supplies

This budget friendly planning hack will make your wedding planning organization top notch. The best part is you only need 3 materials!

  1. A tri-fold board, like the one shown below. These are relatively inexpensive and can be found at Dollar Tree, Walmart, Target and Hobby Lobby.

2. Sticky Notes- choose from standard 3×3 Post-its or mini ones to optimize space. You’ll need around 10 different colors for the various categories. Peruse options at places like Staples, Target or Walmart. This pack of 10 3×3 note pads is available from Amazon!

3. My favorite part is next: THE PENS! Splurge a little here if you’re feeling it with a new Sharpie set, or your favorite pen brand. Alternatively, if you’re not a pen gal, you can conserve your budget here and use a marker or pen you already have!
